Thanks for the a2a. Many people will suggest you to go through tutorialspoint or websites like mainframegurukul, mainframewizard or mainframestechhelp but the best possible suggestion from my side will be (mainframe boneyard) Programming books man. IBM Mainframe handbook contains one chapter on each topic like ISPF, JCL, REXX, CICS, COBOL, VSAM etc. But nothing is covered in detail, no practical examples. Mainframe professional should not refer this book. Its good only for answering questions during job interviews.

This isn’t a book per se. But it’s a a comprehensive set of COBOL tutorials making a full COBOL course as well as COBOL lecture notes, COBOL programming exercises with sample solutions, COBOL programming exam specifications with model answers, COBOL project specifications, and over 50 example COBOL programs.   I learned COBOL in college on an IBM Mainframe using DOS/VSE (they switched to data terminals and got rid of punch cards before I joined the college) but I was never able to find a job programming COBOL. I used this book to help me get started: Murach's Mainframe COBOL. I didn't learn it in school, but got a job that used it.
